Veracruz is a port city living the traditional life of old Mexico. It's an exciting tourist city but here the tourists are Mexicans from all around the country. The state of Veracruz is long and narrow (like California) and is bordered by mountains on the West and the Gulf of Mexico on the East. There are lots of exciting day and over night trips to choose from to add adventure to your stay.
